Get set for snow
This is the time of year when keen skiers and snow-boarders look for the decent snow slopes, although with the weather we had over Christmas we may not have to look abroad for the snow!
Anyway, depending on how often you ski will depend on whether your body is suitably prepared for the ski season.
To prepare ourselves for skiing it is always worth changing our workout regime. You wouldn't necessarily run a marathon without first changing your running routine so skiing is no different.
The body utilises different muscle groups for skiing / snowboarding and our body moves in ways we don't necessarily expect of it during our day to day lives.
In an ideal world you would allow approximately 6 weeks+ to prepare your body accordingly but with all the last minute holiday deals available time is usually limited. Even if time is limited before your holiday you can still make some last-minute preparations!
